Ko’s adorable and peaceful existence wasn’t created from thin air. I incorporated brilliant, precise, and innovative illustration techniques and design guidelines.

Ko’s main art style is geometric, shapes make up his entire body anatomy.
He is made up of three shapes: Circle (Ellipse), Rectangle, and Triangle (Polygon).
Circle - Ears & Eyes
Rectangle - Head, Nose, Mouth, Belly, Arms, & Feet
Triangle - Fur Spike.
Ko’s main art style is geometric, shapes make up his entire body anatomy.

Ko communicate softness, cuteness, and the calm nature of a Koala
Ko's Shape Language seeks to communicate softness, cuteness, and the calm nature of the type of animal that Ko is (Koala), as well as the identity of ClockKo.
Each shape used in the body construction of Ko has rounded corners, including our polygons, which have subtle roundness but are still sharp enough to illustrate the spikiness of the fur.
The combined use of rounded rectangles, ellipses, and Polygons also represents harmony.
